In TSG D0001-2009 Pressure Pipeline Safety Technical Supervision Regulations-Industrial Pipelines (Regulations), Article 145, as shown in the figure below, is stipulated in item (5) of this article: When the bursting disc device is used in series with the safety valve, a pressure gauge or pressure switch, as well as a vent valve, overflow valve or alarm indicator are installed between the bursting disc and the safety valve. I would like to ask why we need to install auxiliary devices such as "pressure gauges or pressure switches, as well as vent valves, overflow valves or alarm indicators"? What exactly does it do? For toxic media that cannot be discharged, aren't these items cumbersome during overpressure relief?
Detect the pressure between the bursting disc and the safety valve. The alarm indicator will send out an alarm signal when the bursting disc releases the pressure, making it more intuitive to detect the use of the bursting disc.
Prevent pressure from being generated between the bursting disc and the safety valve, causing the safety relief device to fail to trip normally. I think the vent valves etc. that are set up will only open when pressure is generated in the space between the rupture discs of the safety valve.
After the safety valve and bursting disc are combined and installed, a closed cavity is indeed formed between the two, but it is only air and there will be no other special media. Even if the ambient temperature changes, it will only be a small change. How much pressure may be generated?
