Why are the stirrers in enamel reactors often designed in the frame/anchor style on the right, rather than in the flat plate style like on the left? Isn’t the stirring of such a whole flat plate on the left even more intense?
Stirring is done to ensure that the contents in the container are evenly dispersed. It’s not for intensity. Intense force does not necessarily ensure uniform distribution of the material.
What is the purpose of stirring? Is it to control the intensity?
The one on the left probably won’t have a long service life.

Isn’t the one on the left just an ordinary straight-blade paddle mixer? There are also those with slanted leaves, which have different uses.
The glass-lined mixers used abroad are also of the plate type, similar to the design of custom mixers, but not in the style you described. The plate-type mixer has high efficiency. But the material cannot be produced domestically at the moment. Or rather, the cost is high. It is made in this way, using seamless tubes. Easy to make and low in cost.
There must be some reason for his existence
