How should we understand the statement in NB/T47014 that \"a welding process which has been evaluated as satisfactory for welding between two types of base materials is also applicable to welding these two types of base materials together\"?
The meaning of this sentence should be quite clear
How else should this be understood? It involves welding the two base materials A and B, using welding process C for evaluation; process C is suitable not only for welding A and B but also for welding AA and BB! I’m not sure if my understanding is correct!
There’s no problem understanding it this way!
Example: S30408+Q345R – a welding process that has been deemed suitable; it is appropriate for S30408+S30408 as well as for Q345R+Q345R.
Provided that the main conditions remain unchanged.
