The scope of pressure vessels includes the vessel body, safety accessories, and instruments. The scope of the pressure vessel body includes: (1) the groove surface of the first circumferential joint where the pressure vessel is welded (adhered) to external pipes or devices, the end surface of the first threaded joint in the case of a threaded connection, the first flange sealing surface in the case of a flanged connection, and the first sealing surface in the case of a connection using special fittings or pipe fittings ; (2) Pressure cover for the opening part of the pressure vessel and its fasteners ; (3) Weld joints connecting non-compressed elements and compressed elements. The main stressed components include tube sections (including reducers), shell plates of spherical vessels, shell plates of non-spherical vessels, end caps, flat covers, expansion joints, equipment flanges, tube sheets and heat exchange tubes of heat exchangers, studs of grade M36 and above (including M36), as well as pipes and pipe flanges with a nominal diameter of 250 mm or more. Safety accessories include safety valves, rupture disc devices, fusible plugs, emergency shut-off devices, and safety interlock devices that are directly connected to the pressure vessel. Instruments, including pressure, temperature, level, and other measuring instruments that are directly connected to the pressure vessel.
According to GB/T150.1, non-pressure components that are directly connected to the vessel, such as supports, skirts, and lugs, also fall within the scope of the vessel.
