What is the structure of this hydrogenation reactor barrel? Why is there a layer inside with such a small thickness?
Lining, composite steel plate can save costs.
Isn't this together with the barrel design? Does this lining count towards the shell thickness? Or was it designed separately?
Can we tell from this what the structure of the cylinder is?

Yes, generally called: Transition layer + surface layer

You will understand by looking at the design drawings. Generally, for composite steel plates, the cladding layer and the base layer are marked separately, and they must be measured separately when measuring (theoretically, it would be troublesome to measure two), but in practice they are measured together.
The cylinder body is made of carbon steel and the inner wall is cladded with stainless steel. We have done this, using welding strip cladding, which is quite expensive.
