Dear experts from HaiChuan, we are now designing a pressure vessel with an inner diameter of 2000, a cylinder length of 3400, and an elliptical head; it will be secured using lug-type supports. May I ask, how far is the position of the ear from the tangent to the cylinder?
The process engineering department provides the condition diagrams, which are used for calculations during design… If no conditions are provided, then ear seats or ring seats should be installed above the center of gravity, and the customer must sign to confirm this
