Can pressure vessels under the same testing conditions be connected together for pressure testing? We used to connect them for such testing in the past, but after an inspector from the boiler inspection agency came to the factory for inspection today, they suggested that each vessel should be tested individually going forward. The requirements for each inspector also vary; are there specific standard specifications?
It’s better to communicate directly with the on-site inspector rather than relying on the county official; after all, it is he who is responsible for conducting inspections, otherwise no certificate will be issued
Theoretically, it’s possible; in practice, they also conduct pressure tests on all of them together. Until then, the inspection agency raised a question: if the pressure cannot be maintained, how can you determine which unit or units are defective? If too many units are connected in series, even if one of them malfunctions and causes a voltage drop, this will not be clearly reflected on the main meter. How can it be ensured that every unit is in good condition? So, from now on, pressure testing will be done on a single unit.

I agree with you. When testing under pressure with connections in place, there are also many connecting pipes, and if one connection fails, everyone fails as well
