There are coiled tubes inside the reaction tank, as well as an external jacket. A thermometer is located on the side of the tank body. Water is leaking from the jacket surrounding the thermometer and from the welds on the tank body. After those welds were repaired, leakage started to occur inside the tank body. What could be the reason?

When welding outside, does the thermometer tube get heated, and does the slight expansion of the pipe cause the weld at the internal pipe opening to tear?
If the weld between the jacket and the inner cylinder is leaking, it’s likely that high current during welding caused the cylinder wall to be burned through; this has nothing to do with the thermometer sleeve. When performing patch welding, it is necessary to empty the contents inside; fixing leaks while there are still materials present requires a highly skilled welder.
After the weld here was repaired, there was a leak inside the tank. Where is the leak inside this kettle? Inside the kettle at the jacket area? Are there any photos?
A shell/jacket structure and weld detail drawings are required to conduct an analysis and evaluation.
Wouldn’t that pose a significant security risk?
