I would like to ask what grade of welding wire or electrode should be used for welding between TA2 and S31603 on pressure vessels?
TA2 and S31603 cannot be welded together
99.99% silver sealed welding
If welding is not possible, then what about the lugs and saddles of horizontal containers? It won’t be made of titanium either
It’s not possible to weld them; for the specific structure, one can refer to the standard JBT4745-2002 – Titanium Welded Containers, which provides some recommended structures.
What about titanium and steel? In their molten state, they can be considered similar to water and oil. They can’t mix together; once they solidify, ice remains ice and oil remains oil. It may look welded, but it actually doesn’t have much strength.
