The new GB/T 713 series of standards has been officially released

On August 6, 2023, Announcement No. 7 of that year issued 431 recommended **standards and 2 **standard amendment documents, including several standards for the boiler and pressure vessel industry such as GB/T 713.1~7-2023 \"Steel plates and strips for pressure equipment\" and GB/T 25198-2023 \"Headings for pressure vessels\". The original standard announcement can be found in the blue text at the end of the article titled “Read the original”. The standard will come into effect on March 1, 2024. The standard names are as follows: ①GB/T 713.1-2023 Steel plates and strips for pressure-bearing equipment – Part 1: General requirements; ②GB/T 713.2-2023 Steel plates and strips for pressure-bearing equipment – Part 2: Non-alloy and alloy steels with specified temperature properties, replacing GB/T 713-2014 and GB/T 35012-2018; ③GB/T 713.3-2023 Steel plates and strips for pressure-bearing equipment – Part 3: Low-alloy steels with specified low-temperature properties, replacing GB/T 3531-2014; ④GB/T 713.4-2023 Steel plates and strips for pressure-bearing equipment – Part 4: Nickel alloy steels with specified low-temperature properties, replacing GB/T 24510-2017; ⑤GB/T 713.5-2023 Steel plates and strips for pressure-bearing equipment – Part 5: High-manganese steels with specified low-temperature properties; ⑥GB/T 713.6-2023 Steel plates and strips for pressure-bearing equipment – Part 6: Quenched and tempered high-strength steels, replacing GB/T 19189-2011; ⑦GB/T 713.7-2023 Steel plates and strips for pressure-bearing equipment – Part 7: Stainless steels and heat-resistant steels, replacing GB/T 24511-2017
