These reactors were manufactured by Zhanghuaji (Suzhou) Heavy Equipment Co., Ltd. The Saudi Shabik PKN MTBE project is a cooperation project under the Belt and Road Initiative; once completed, it will become the world’s largest MTBE plant with an annual production capacity of 1 million tons. During the project implementation, the management of Zhanghua Machinery paid close attention, and all employees of the project team worked together with full commitment to advance the project schedule. This equipment utilizes Sabic’s own patented technology. In the face of challenges such as large diameter and thin walls, numerous complex shapes, special materials, and a complicated manufacturing process, Zhanghua Machinery has upheld its tradition of overcoming difficulties by continuously optimizing construction methods and efficiently organizing construction resources, thus ensuring the smooth delivery of the equipment. This batch of equipment was successfully shipped on schedule, providing a solid foundation for the smooth completion and operation of the MTBE project. It also further strengthened Zhanghua Machinery’s core competitiveness in participating in international projects.
