At 3 p.m. on December 24th, under the supervision of all project managers involved, the precise lifting operation was officially commenced on the T-501 benzene tower, a key piece of equipment in the Unit 2 aromatic compounds processing area of the Sinochem Fourth Construction South China Branch’s Sinochem (Guangdong) Refining and Chemical Engineering Project. It is reported that the tower in question, for which the company is responsible, has a total height of 53.94 meters; after systematic integration and installation, its total lifting weight amounts to 125 tons. Through careful planning and smooth operations, the tower was successfully lifted and accurately positioned on the afternoon of the same day, marking a crucial success in the installation of the first heavy-duty 100-ton toluene tower for this project. According to the construction plan, the subsequent lifting operations will proceed efficiently. The preparation work for lifting the T-502 toluene tower was successfully initiated on December 24, and its installation will be completed by December 25; it is expected that the lifting of all three towers will be finished by the end of this month.
