Baffle deformation

When cleaning the U-tube heat exchanger and removing the core, one baffle was deformed and bent; it was corrected later, but there is still some deformation in that baffle. Will this cause a short circuit in the shell side and affect heat transfer?
A slight deformation has little impact on the heat exchange efficiency.
