How to clean the oil in the ammonia system?

The ammonia system has not been performing well in terms of cooling efficiency recently. We suspect that it is due to an excessive amount of oil in the ammonia system, especially in the liquefier. Although some of the oil was removed through the oil collector, there was still no improvement; it’s possible that the oil is adhering to the walls of the pipes and containers. I would like to ask all fellow sailors: if oil adheres to the walls of pipes and containers, how should it be cleaned? Are there any chemicals or substances that can be used for cleaning?
I’m not familiar with tube-type systems. All the semi-welded equipment in our facility is equipped with oil drainage ports, and we’ve never encountered such problems. It seems quite troublesome to use tube-type systems for draining and cleaning liquid ammonia as well
