Suppose there is a situation where the condensate tank behind the reboiler is 20 meters higher than the location of the reboiler. So, can steam enter the reboiler?
I think it’s almost impossible to get in. In the production workshop where I work, the liquid level in the condensate tank reached 50% above half of the level in the reboiler on two occasions. Once this was detected, we consulted the designers, and the issues were resolved accordingly.

What is the pressure of your condensate tank? If the pressure in the condensate tank is lower than the steam pressure. Logically, steam should be able to get in.

The current situation is that I want to channel the condensed water coming from the heat exchanger to the upper floor for use by the heat exchanger.
It’s logically possible, but it depends on the steam pressure level used. Additionally, it is determined by the height difference between the condensate water and the heat exchanger downstream
If the volume is large, it is recommended to use a dedicated recovery system to collect the condensate separately; after all, raising the steam pressure also requires energy, and issues such as water hammer can easily occur
