The surface of the sheet already has a passivation layer; by carrying out an additional acid washing and passivation process, I assure you that its effective thickness will decrease, and most importantly, its lifespan will be shortened.
The problem is that during processes such as pressing and welding, the passivation film is damaged; once the equipment is put into use, these weak points become corroded, causing leaks in the equipment
It’s generally not necessary to do this, as there is oil contamination during the pressing of the plates. If the medium has specific requirements regarding oil, such as in the food industry, it’s better to wash them first

Do you weld sheet metal? Is it also processed through welding? During the pressing process, use red material; to prevent mechanical scratches, a protective film should be applied before pressing.
