Previously, heating was charged based on area, but now it is charged according to the meter reading； To make full use of energy, a heat exchange device is installed to reduce the return water temperature to about 40 degrees Celsius. A brazed plate heat exchanger made of S304 material was installed; the issue of chloride ions in tap water was ignored during installation. It has been in use for two years now, and it’s not clear how much longer it will hold up.
I’m afraid that corrosion of the heat exchange plate could cause the media on both sides to mix with each other.
