Dear experts, I have a question. Malodorous substances (thiols) leak into the steam system through the heat exchangers, causing the steam condensate to have an unpleasant odor. However, since the amount of leakage is very small (with a low odor threshold), continuous sampling tests were conducted on the heat exchangers in the workshop using characteristic factors, and the test results showed no issues; as a result, the exact location of the leakage could not be identified. I would like to ask if there are any methods that can help locate the leakage point quickly.
You need to determine whether it is a leak in the heat exchanger; if so, the heat exchanger can be repaired by contacting the original manufacturer or by finding another heat exchanger manufacturer to produce a new one
