Coupling alignment is a crucial process during the maintenance of centrifugal compressors, and it is also a relatively time-consuming step. Therefore, coupling finding is one of the essential skills for centrifugal compressor maintenance personnel. One dial indicator (Table 1) is fixed at the radial position of the coupling, and the other two dial indicators (Table 2 and Table 3) are fixed at the axial and diagonal positions of the coupling. The data measurement method for centrifugal compressor coupling alignment is through the double-meter measurement method or the dial indicator measurement method. The double-meter measurement method is suitable for units whose axial displacement changes little. In order to ensure the accuracy of the measurement data, the dial indicator measurement method is often used for calibration. In the dial indicator measurement method, three dial indicators are used for measurement and calibration. Among them, one dial indicator (Table 1) is fixed at the radial position of the coupling, and the other two dial indicators (Table 2 and Table 3) are fixed at the axial and diagonal positions of the coupling. When performing data verification, the following conditions need to be met: 1. a1=a5, indicating that the measured values in Table 1 and Table 5 are equal ; 2. (b1-c1)=(b5-c5), which means that the difference between Table 1 and Table 5 is equal to the difference between Table 2 and Table 4 ; 3. (b1+b3+c2+c4)=(b2+b4+c1+c3), which means that the sum values between Table 1 and Table 3 and Table 2 and Table 4 are equal. If the above equations are true, it means that the data measurement is accurate, and the error range is generally controlled at 0.01mm. If the conditions are not met, the measurement needs to be repeated. .
