Everyone, the temperature of the liquid and gas phases coming out of the synthesis tower is 182 degrees. The temperature of the liquid exiting the high-pressure scrubber is 170 degrees, while the temperatures of the gas and liquid phases in the high-pressure cooling system are 168 degrees. The pressure difference across the high-pressure spray nozzles is 1.5 MPa. However, the temperature of the gas exiting the high-pressure scrubber is 183 degrees. What could be the reason for this? I would appreciate your advice
The original poster can make the following adjustments based on actual operating conditions; note that these are minor adjustments: 1. The pressure in the steam drum can be reduced appropriately; 2. The N/C value can be reduced appropriately, but attention should be paid to the actual operating conditions ; 3. The temperature of the water entering the washer can be reduced (here, it is possible to check what the heat exchange area of the washer is; the inlet water temperature should be controlled at 100°C or even lower, at 90°C). 4. The liquid inlet volume of the high-level washer can be increased appropriately.
Possible reasons: 1. The thermometer is broken. 2. The vent volume is too large. 3. The ratio of system components is not optimal (ammonia-to-carbon ratio, water-to-carbon ratio). 4. The pressures in the saturators and at the gas saturation point are too high. There are other reasons as well; you’ll find out by trying them one by one.
The water-to-carbon ratio is high, or the water supply at the inlet of the methylamine pump is open, resulting in internal leakage.
