The price of methanol in the Panjin area has risen by 50–70 yuan per ton, reaching 2,200 yuan per ton when delivered against cash. There are no new prices for methanol in the Shenyang area; most people are waiting to see what happens at the beginning of the week. The prevailing transaction price in Linfen, Shanxi has risen by 20–30 yuan per ton, reaching 2100–2140 yuan per ton for cash delivery ； In the Changzhi area, the offline price remains stable at 2,210 yuan per ton, with delivery against cash payment ； The prevailing transaction price in the Jincheng area has stabilized at 2,180 yuan per ton, ex-warehouse and in cash. The market price of methanol in Qinghai region is currently unavailable. Due to gas supply restrictions during winter, all the major gas-based production facilities in this region are shut down for maintenance, with production expected to resume in March 2021. Quotations for methanol in Henan are on the rise, with decent trading activity in the market. Henan-based companies offer stable prices; the actual ex-plant price is around 2230–2250 yuan per ton ； The quoted price in the Luoyang market is around 2,230–2,260 yuan per ton. Quotations for methanol in the Two Lakes region are rising, while traders in the market tend to adopt a wait-and-see attitude. The leading enterprises in Hubei have not submitted bids yet; other companies have raised their offers. The actual ex-factory price is around 2300–2460 yuan per ton, while there are no prices available in the trading market at present ； The reference price for the Hunan market is around 2,600 yuan per ton. In the Fujian region, the morning quotes for the methanol market showed an increase; the spot prices in the main storage areas of Quanzhou rose by 30–40 yuan per ton, reaching around 2600–2610 yuan per ton including taxes. In Xiamen, the price is currently around 2680 yuan per ton. Demand in the market is moderate, with limited transactions taking place.
