It is estimated that even though production restrictions bring advantages, urea manufacturers will accept orders at low prices in order to have stock ready for the National Day period. Fertilizer manufacturers, facing this situation, will purchase in appropriate amounts to ensure production, but such purchases are usually short-term in nature; the outlook remains uncertain, so they prefer to make purchases in batches according to their needs. Urea prices across the country remain weak; factories in Hebei, Shandong, Anhui and other regions that rely on road transport have insufficient orders, so they continue to reduce prices slightly in an attempt to attract customers. However, due to weak demand, sales performance is not satisfactory. Due to production restrictions, the supply from the factory in Shanxi has dropped significantly, and there is no pressure during the holiday period. In Henan province, the typical ex-factory price for small particles is 1,770–1,810 yuan per ton, though some companies have increased their prices by 10 yuan per ton. In Anhui province, the typical ex-factory price for small particles is around 1,800–1,880 yuan per ton, with a few companies raising their prices by 40 yuan per ton. In Jiangsu province, the typical price for small and medium-sized particles is 1,850–1,880 yuan per ton, with prices remaining stable for now. In Shanxi province, the transport cost for large and small particles is around 1,650–1,720 yuan per ton, with some companies increasing their prices by 10 yuan per ton. In Inner Mongolia, the typical transaction price for small and medium-sized particles is around 1,530–1,600 yuan per ton, with prices remaining stable. In Hubei province, the typical price for small particles is 1,800–1,840 yuan per ton, with prices stable. In Shaanxi province, the local sales price for small and medium-sized particles is around 1,740 yuan per ton, while the price for shipments outside the region is around 1,660 yuan per ton. Plastic sheet manufacturers reduced their production levels due to strict environmental regulations, and weak market demand resulting from a delayed farming season meant that new orders were limited. Companies mainly focused on securing orders ahead of the holidays, and there was still a willingness to lower prices to attract customers. Market sentiment was mixed; it is expected that urea prices will remain stable in the near term, with only minor adjustments.
