The methanol market in Hebei region saw a slight increase in prices; the selling price in Shijiazhuang and Dingzhou areas was around 2100–2150 yuan per ton, with a rise of 50 yuan per ton for lower-quality products ； Traders are quoting prices of 2,020–2,030 yuan per ton for the Wen’an area, with limited purchasing demand from downstream users ； The price in the Tangshan area remains at the previous level of 2,150 yuan per ton. The methanol market in Henan remains stable; local companies are selling at prices of 1,980–2010 yuan per ton, while some companies have not yet set new prices. In the Luoyang area, the prevailing selling price is around 1,960–1980 yuan per ton, with moderate sales volume. The methanol market in Shanxi region is operating steadily for now. Currently, the price in Linfen is around 1,930–1,950 yuan per ton; some production facilities are scheduled to restart in the near future ； In Jincheng, some contracts are priced around 1,880–1,900 yuan per ton; attention is being paid to the outcomes of new deals ； The retail price in Changzhi is 1,980 yuan per ton; there is little pressure on inventory levels ； Tongmei’s contract price remains steady at 1,960 yuan/ton this week ； Some enterprises in Lüliang are implementing contracts at around 1,950 yuan per ton. The methanol market in the Two Lakes region is operating in a stable manner; the prevailing price for shipments in Hubei is around 2,090–2,150 yuan per ton, while in Changsha, Hunan, the price is around 2,250 yuan per ton, with these prices being offered by traders based in Changsha. Southwest region: Affected by poor gas supply, the overall operational rate of methanol production in this area dropped sharply by 14% to around 36%. Quotations for the Chengdu market are around 2,080–2,130 yuan per ton (including taxes). Supply within the region is decreasing; an upward trend is expected.
