Henan-based companies have not provided quotes yet; those with stock have made slight adjustments to their offers. In the Luoyang market, the offer is around 1680–1700 yuan per ton in cash terms, and demand is relatively weak. In Linfen, Shanxi, the prevailing transaction price remains stable at 1,580–1,620 yuan per ton, on a spot exchange basis ex-works ; The offline price in the Changzhi area is 1,700 yuan per ton, ex-works in cash ; The prevailing transaction price in the Jincheng area has dropped by 30–40 yuan per ton, reaching 1,600 yuan per ton ex-works in cash ; The Lvliang region competes to execute contracts at the initial contract price ; The prevailing transaction price in Yuncheng area is 1,700 yuan per ton, ex-works in cash ; Equipment maintenance in the Datong area; no new prices available. Company’s sales are average, but the morale is decent. The negotiated price for methanol in the Dongying area of Shandong is 1,750–1,780 yuan per ton, ex-warehouse and in cash; transaction volume is decent. The offers submitted are relatively low, resulting in a somewhat large price difference. The methanol market in the Two Lakes region is operating steadily. Hubei-based companies remain steady in their quotes; the reference price at the factory is 1,820–1,900 yuan per ton in cash terms, with weak transaction volume for actual orders ; Negotiations in the Hunan market remain stable; for supplies from other regions, the reference price is 1,960–1,980 yuan per ton in cash terms, with weak buying interest. The methanol market in Fujian remains generally stable; import suppliers in the main storage areas are offering prices around 1,880–1,900 yuan per ton, including taxes, at the time of delivery. Activity in the local market is low, with limited inquiries.
