The mainstream reference price for methanol in the Anhui region has dropped by 10–30 yuan per ton, to 2270–2300 yuan per ton at the factory gate, inclusive of acceptance fees. Market sentiment is poor, and there is little enthusiasm for taking orders. Quotations in Henan’s methanol market have declined, with weak trading activity. Henan-based companies have lowered their quotes; the reference price at the factory is 2,170 yuan per ton, with payment by bank transfer upon delivery ； Quotations in the Luoyang market continued to fall by 20 yuan per ton, reaching 2120–2130 yuan per ton in cash upon delivery, with weak trading activity. The methanol market in the Two Lakes region saw sporadic declines.
