At the beginning of the week, prices from the weekend are often applied; a wait-and-see attitude prevails, with attention paid to the situations in various regions in the northwest. In central Shandong, the local delivery price for methanol remains stable at 1,650–1,660 yuan per ton in cash upon delivery, while the price for goods delivered from outside this area stays at 1,530 yuan per ton in cash upon delivery. Sales performance was average, with most people adopting a wait-and-see attitude at the start of the week. The negotiated price of methanol in the Dongying area of Shandong remains stable at 1,520–1,530 yuan per ton, ex-warehouse and in cash; there are no significant fluctuations at present, with prices generally staying steady. In southern Shandong, the prevailing price for methanol is 20 yuan/ton higher, at around 1570–1580 yuan/ton in cash terms; some transactions are made at 1560–1570 yuan/ton upon delivery in cash. In Linyi, the price of locally sourced methanol is 20 yuan/ton higher, at around 1570–1580 yuan/ton for delivery, while methanol transported by logistics services costs 1530–1540 yuan/ton for delivery. The temporary issues with Guohong’s equipment have been resolved recently, providing support to the company’s morale. The mainstream reference price for methanol in the Anhui region has increased by 20–30 yuan per ton, reaching 1,480–1,500 yuan per ton at the time of delivery and settlement. Downstream factories are stocking up ahead of the holiday, and manufacturers say shipments can be maintained in the near term with stable quotes. The methanol market in the Two Lakes region remained stable with only slight fluctuations. Some enterprises in Hubei have raised their quotes; the actual ex-factory price is around 1,500–1,530 yuan per ton in cash terms ； The reference quote for the Hunan market is 1,660–1,680 yuan per ton in cash. Buy-side demand is mainly driven by essential needs, and actual transaction volumes are fairly average.
