The air separation unit is one of the two main units constructed for this project, and the turbine serves as the core element for energy conversion in the air separation unit. The crane in the air separation compression plant has a lifting capacity of 50/10 T, with a net weight of 50 T; it is installed in place using a 350 T crane. The successful completion of this lifting operation marks the entry of the construction of the compression building for the air separation unit into a critical phase, creating favorable conditions for the subsequent installation of the steam turbines, generators, and air compressors.
