On September 4, the cyanuric acid production project at the Zhongyuan Dahuahua facility was completed and brought online successfully, with high-quality cyanuric acid being produced from the first attempt. Construction on this project began in October 2018, and mechanical completion was achieved on June 30, 2019. On August 27, the pilot production plan was approved with expert signatures, and on August 30, Zhongyuan Dahuahua Group Company agreed to commence pilot production for the project. The furnace was started on August 31, and qualified crude cyanuric acid and sulfuric an were produced on September 1. Cyanuric acid is a downstream product of urea; it requires low investment and yields quick results. The cyanuric acid project is a chemical project established by the company in order to extend the urea production chain and enhance its profitability. By making use of the idle land, factories, and utility facilities owned by Zhongyuan Dahuahua Company, the company jointly invested with Puyang Kairun Chemical to develop this project; it represents another step in the reform and transformation of the Puyang Chemical Industry Park. Once operational, the project will produce 30,000 tons of cyanuric acid and 60,000 tons of ammonium sulfate per year, with an expected annual revenue of 180 million yuan and a profit of 14 million yuan.
