Date: November 12, 2020 Clicks: 16 On October 30, the construction site of the ‘near-zero discharge’ wastewater recycling project at Ningxia Hening Chemical Co., Ltd. was filled with flags; the wastewater recycling system began to accept wastewater at 10:00 a.m., marking the completion of the main construction work one day ahead of schedule and the entry into the commissioning phase. This is yet another milestone in the development history of Hening Company. From now on, Hening Company will be free from the constraint of being unable to handle wastewater treatment on its own, which holds significant strategic importance for the safe and stable operation of its production facilities, environmental protection, and the development of the company’s core competitive advantages. The construction of the reclaimed water reuse project at Hening Company has received great attention from the leaders of Lutianhua Group Company and its joint-stock company, as well as warm support from leaders at all levels of the Ningdong Management Committee. It is an upgrade and renovation project of the existing water supply and drainage systems carried out by Hening Company in order to actively respond to the calls for water conservation and emission reduction, to achieve the recycling of water resources, and to handle its own wastewater discharge independently. After the project is accepted and put into operation, the use of new environmental protection technologies and equipment enables the recycling of reclaimed water, thereby achieving energy conservation and emission reduction. This approach can effectively promote the simultaneous development of economic, social, and environmental benefits for the enterprise. It is reported that the formal reuse of reclaimed water in the circulating water system is expected to take place in late November, after the project is approved and all stages of trial operation are successful.
