How is the liquid ammonia separated by the gas-liquid separator of the chiller recovered?
A low-level tank is installed; the liquid ammonia separated by the separation tank flows by gravity to this low-level tank. Once the liquid level in this tank reaches the set value, it is isolated from the system, and the ammonia is then transported to the ammonia storage tank using air pressure or pumps
The separated liquid ammonia is directly pumped back into the ammonia collection tank
Increase pressure using a shielded pump to send it to the storage tank.
First, address the issue with liquid presence; it’s best to add a shielded pump to return the ammonia to the tank.
To minimize liquid carryover, a gas-liquid separator can be equipped with additional coils to vaporize the liquid ammonia.
