This major maintenance campaign focuses on the upgrading and renovation of the plant’s core equipment, aiming to address potential issues with these devices and ensure they meet regulatory requirements. A number of key projects are carried out, including the maintenance and replacement of equipment used in gasification, methanol production, ammonia synthesis, nitric acid production, ammonium nitrate production, and steam generation. During the downtime, electrical and instrumentation maintenance is carried out, special equipment inspections and safety accessory calibrations are performed, potential hazards are addressed, and process optimization and technical upgrades are pursued. According to the Ordos government website, in 2025, the overall production and sales performance of Inner Mongolia Yidong Jiuding Chemical Co., Ltd. remained stable, maintaining a good level compared to previous years. The product orders cover a wide range of clients; in addition to supplying key domestic customers such as Shenhua and Shengli, products like porous ammonium nitrate water-soluble fertilizers have also been successfully exported to Malaysia and Mongolia Countries and regions such as **. Jiuding Chemical of Inner Mongolia Yidong Group uses multi-component slurry gasification to produce synthetic ammonia, nitric acid, porous ammonium nitrate, methanol, and other products. Among them, the production capacity is 100,000 tons per year for synthetic ammonia, 200,000 tons for ammonium nitrate, 150,000 tons for dilute nitric acid, and 200,000 tons for methanol.
