On October 28, the methanol synthesis tower for this project, which was constructed by the Inner Mongolia branch and had its lifting carried out by Daji Company, was successfully lifted, marking the completion of the lifting of the project’s large-scale equipment. As the heaviest piece of equipment in this project, the methanol synthesis tower is 15.2 meters long and has a net weight of 273.6 tons. It is lifted using a 400-ton crawler crane for the main lifting operation, with a 500-ton truck crane used to assist with the lifting process. Before the lifting operation, the project team of the Inner Mongolia branch and the second construction team of Daji Company conducted multiple on-site measurements, overcame obstacles such as limited space, and ultimately managed to lift and place the equipment in one go.
