It was recently reported that the lifting of two large-scale key equipment for the urea production unit in the second phase of the Baiyin Jingyuan Chemical Project has been successfully completed. The two devices are urea synthesis towers, weighing 202 tons each, with dimensions of φ3020×18773 mm ; Stirring tower, specifications φ2396×13171mm, weight 103 tons. The second phase of Baiyin Jingyuan Chemical uses the five-ring urea technology. The second phase of the Gansu Jingyuan Coal and Electricity Clean and Efficient Gasification Gas Comprehensive Utilization Project mainly involves the construction of a new pulverized coal gasifier, along with associated utility systems such as shift reactors, desulfurization and decarburization units, liquid nitrogen washing systems, ammonia synthesis plants, ammonia refrigeration units, ammonia synthesis gas compression systems, carbon dioxide compression systems (for urea production), urea production facilities, air separation units, and heating systems. The final production capacity is 300,000 tons per year of synthetic ammonia and 350,000 tons per year of urea. Project Overview: The Jingyuan Coal and Electricity Clean and Efficient Gasification Gas Comprehensive Utilization (Relocation and Transformation) project has a total investment of 5.425 billion yuan. It is located in the Yindong Industrial Park of the Baiyin High-Tech Industrial Park, covering an area of 839 mu. The raw coal and fuel coal used in the project are primarily Jingyuan coal, and advanced, mature, and energy-saving technologies such as pressurized coal gasification, isothermal shift, and Claus sulfur recovery are employed to produce products such as synthetic ammonia, methanol, urea, melamine, and urea ammonium nitrate solution ; At the same time, it supplies high-quality raw materials such as hydrogen and carbon monoxide to other chemical enterprises in the Yindong Industrial Park, thereby promoting the development of a circular economy in the park. The first phase of the Jingyuan Coal and Electricity Clean and Efficient Gasification Gas Comprehensive Utilization Project has an annual production capacity of 300,000 tons of synthetic ammonia, 350,000 tons of urea, 20,000 m3/h of (H2+CO), 40,000 tons of methanol, 50,000 tons of liquid carbon dioxide, 60,000 tons of melamine, 50,000 tons of urea-ammonium nitrate solution, 1,924 tons of sulfur, and 2,500 tons of catalysts. The second phase of the project results in an annual production capacity of 300,000 tons of synthetic ammonia, 350,000 tons of urea, 10,000 m3/h of (H2+CO), and 60,000 tons of methanol.
