Recently, Xinjiang Jinxiang Company held a meeting to conduct the environmental protection inspection for its 600,000 tons per year nitro compound fertilizer project. For this acceptance inspection, three experts were invited to conduct the evaluation: Xie Dongying, a senior engineer and technical expert in ecological and environmental protection from the autonomous region; Han Tao, a senior engineer and environmental protection expert from Xinjiang Jinta Non-ferrous Metals Co., Ltd. The evaluation panel reviewed the operation of the main project components, environmental protection facilities, and emergency management facilities via video, and examined relevant documents. After review, the expert panel concluded that the project had complete environmental approval procedures; it met the requirements regarding the simultaneous installation of environmental protection facilities as specified in the environmental impact assessment report and the corresponding approval documents, and was in compliance with the regulations for environmental acceptance. The panel unanimously agreed that the 600,000 tons per year nitro compound fertilizer project passed the environmental acceptance inspection.
