According to Jingchu Net, as of March 1, 2025, at the construction site of the Yuntu Holding Industry Upgrade Project, whose total investment amounts to 7.5 billion yuan, 12 factory buildings have already been built. More than half of the production workshops are in the process of equipment installation. With equipment such as urea stripping towers/synthesis towers and gasification furnaces being installed one after another, the basic framework of the facility is taking shape. The 1.5 million-ton refined salt project is expected to be completed and put into operation in September, with full completion anticipated by October. Since the construction of the salt industry upgrading project began, it has received strong support from the Party Working Committee and the office of Sili Peng Sub-district, which has enabled the project’s completion time to be reduced by two to three months compared to the original schedule. The Yingcheng Xindu Chemical Salt Industry Green Transformation and Product Structure Adjustment and Upgrading Project involves the construction of facilities for producing 600,000 tons per year of water-soluble compound fertilizers, 400,000 tons per year of slow- and controlled-release compound fertilizers, 700,000 tons per year of refined salt, 200,000 tons per year of sodium bicarbonate (baking soda), and 50,000 tons per year of melamine ； Renovation and expansion of 300,000 tons of sodium hydride and 700,000 tons of synthetic ammonia production facilities ； 300,000 tons of light alkali were converted into heavy alkali.
