The latest version of GBT 20801.1-2020, \"Code for Pressure Piping – Industrial Piping, Part 1: General Provisions\", will come into effect on October 1, 2020. Based on the definitions of pressure piping and GC3 piping given in these general provisions, which category of pressure piping should certain pipes that transport non-toxic, non-flammable, and non-corrosive liquid media, with a design pressure of 1.0 MPa or higher but a working pressure of less than 1.6 MPa, be classified as? Is it GC2?

I think there’s something wrong with the standardized definition.
Non-toxic, non-flammable, and non-corrosive media with a nominal diameter of less than DN150 and a maximum operating pressure of less than 1.6 MAP do not fall under the category of pressure pipelines. The GC3 class pressure pipelines have now been abolished!
