What to learn: various design standards, characteristics of target materials, properties of different materials, laws and regulations, various design software, different manufacturing processes, calculations related to process materials and heat, drawing standards, instrumentation, civil engineering, steel structures, electrical systems, knowledge... In short, learn whatever you come across
I’ve been working in process design for just two years, and I’m still a bit confused; there’s so much to learn, and whenever I encounter something I don’t know how to do, I get stuck
