Steam pipeline: design pressure of 1.4 MPa, design temperature of 200°C, nominal pressure PN25; material: 20, DN100, using II series pipes. Calculations are carried out in accordance with the formulas specified in the \"Code for Design of Industrial Metal Piping\" (GB50316-2000) (2008 edition). The table takes into account deviations in outer diameter as well as wall thickness; the corrosion allowance is set at a conservative level. It is also assumed that elbows with the same wall thickness pose no problem, and a wall thickness of 3.5 mm is an acceptable option. The wall thickness was finally finalized at 3.5 mm. Is there a mistake? It should be possible to purchase pipes of 108*3.5mm, right? And if SCH is used to represent the corresponding wall thickness, it will be much thicker than what was calculated above; is it still possible to purchase pipes with DN100*SCH20? What is the difference between the two? If there are no issues, of course choose the one with a smaller wall thickness, as it is cheaper while still meeting the requirements. Please advise
Insulation and span also need to be considered, after which the pipe wall thickness can be selected
