Who has information on the current status of the development of domestic carbon dioxide long-distance pipelines? How many such pipelines exist in China, where are they located, which organizations were responsible for their design, and what are the key challenges in their design and construction?
Are there long-distance carbon dioxide pipelines in the country? It seems not!
It seems that a pipeline has been built in the Shengli Oil Field, but the details are not clear
There isn’t any now! Economics do not support it!
It is usually natural gas and crude oil; there is no carbon dioxide
What is the significance of long-distance transportation of carbon dioxide?
This post was last edited by The wise on 2019-1-24 08:16; it is presumably used for CCS carbon capture. Abroad, CO2 is used to extend the lifespan of old oil fields by injecting it into these fields to drive out the remaining oil in the rock fractures.

The Cotitz high-pressure CO2 pipeline is a high-pressure pipeline for transporting carbon dioxide (CO2) that came into use in the United States in 1983; its total length is 813 KM. Its main design parameters are: the pipeline pressure ranges from 9.7 to 17.9 MPa depending on the elevation; the wall thickness is 17.5 to 25.4 mm; the diameter is 762 mm; the pipeline material is API 5Lx65, and it is a straight-seam welded steel pipe made using double-sided submerged arc welding.
