Why can we see the flame when the air valve is opened wide during combustion in the furnace, but not see the flame when the valve is closed? ? ? I hope the experts here can give me some advice! ! ! !
In my opinion, a larger air volume due to an open damper allows for normal combustion; closing the damper may result in incomplete combustion, which is why no flame can be seen. This means that your furnace requires a slightly higher amount of air; don’t turn it down too much.
