Seeking advice: The information provided in the process package includes a tank with a built-in steam heating coil; steam enters from the top, and condensate exits from the same side. Has anyone encountered this situation before? How do you approach it?
Steam: in high, out low; Could you show a picture? How does the condensate water come out from above?
A schematic diagram should be provided; if condensate is generated at the upper end of the coil where steam enters, it can be pushed out by the pressure of the incoming steam, so there’s no problem with that. But if the discharge occurs at the lower end, the liquid flows out due to its own weight – in that case, is it necessary to install a steam trap?
No problem, that’s exactly how the internal coil of our reaction axe is designed. Just be relieved.

This can be achieved, provided that the pressure at the steam inlet is greater than the pressure of the condensate water column!
Was overheated steam used? Personally, I think that if it’s saturated steam, there will be condensate at the bottom; therefore, a hydrophobic coating should be applied.
It’s a problem with the coil design; it’s not entirely scientific, it doesn’t affect usability, but it does impact the service life.
It’s possible; it’s not necessary to use the lower outlet – using the lower outlet is better, but if the manufacturing process requires it, then the upper outlet can be used.
Normally, water discharge from above can easily cause water hammer, and the drainage may not be smooth
