Design of pump outlet filling line and minimum return line

That’s not the pump filling line, right? The arrow is pointing outward
Does an end-suction pump require priming, and is a high-head pump the one with the minimum reflux line?
The line you cut for the header is connected to the bypass drain valve located next to the check valve; it serves to drain any liquid that accumulates in the pipeline, thereby facilitating cleaning.
Just like in our equipment, this line on-site is indeed called a priming pump line. Priming pump lines are necessary for all the side-line pumps in the vacuum distillation tower, as these side-line pumps operate under negative pressure
Maybe it’s due to different habits; the settings are in different locations
