As the title suggests, it involves small quantities of materials in barrel form that are used in chemical plants (stored in 200L iron tanks). Normally, diaphragm pumps or peristaltic pumps are used for such applications. However, the materials I’m working with tend to polymerize on their own (such as methyl methacrylate), and I’m concerned that the residue remaining in the pumps and pipes might polymerize to form plastic particles that could cause damage. Has anyone encountered a similar situation? How did you handle it? Note: In accordance with the \"Safety Management Standards for Fine Chemical Enterprises\" to be implemented on October 18, 2025, Article 7.2.4.1 states that flammable liquid materials of Class A-B and Class B-A should not be transported using vacuum or compressed air.

Nitrogen can be used; compressed air is clearly not suitable. Compressed nitrogen is an option. It is not clear whether your facility’s storage tanks are equipped with nitrogen sealing systems. Nitrogen can be used to pressurize the tanks during filling, and the outlet can then be connected to the tank. This is just information provided by a newcomer for reference only
Maybe I didn’t explain myself clearly; I was talking about how to transport the material in iron drums in a sealed manner to the desired tanks.
If environmental regulations permit, use a pneumatic oil pump on-site. Grounding is done properly. :lol
