It depends on the amount of condensate you have; that will determine the size of the flash tank. A filling capacity of 60-70% and a length-to-diameter ratio of 1.5:1 should be sufficient. It can be treated as an ordinary pressure vessel.
The filling capacity of 60-70% refers to the amount of liquid at a certain residence time, right? Is there anything particular to consider regarding the rising speed of the gas inside the tank?
