In this method, the decarbocycloaliphatic hydrocarbons are distilled to remove heavier components, resulting in a tetramethylenetetrahydrocarbon mixture; subsequent atmospheric distillation then yields a first p-tetramethylenetetrahydrocarbon enriched solution, a first meso-tetramethylenetetrahydrocarbon enriched solution, and a first ortho-tetramethylenetetrahydrocarbon enriched solution ； Then, the three tetramethylbenzene enrichments were each subjected to vacuum distillation to yield the second p-tetramethylbenzene enrichment, the second m-tetramethylbenzene enrichment, and the second o-tetramethylbenzene enrichment ； The second p-tertoluene enriched solution was subjected to the first cooling crystallization to yield p-tertoluene ； The second p-toluenetetraisolate was subjected to a second cooling crystallization to yield p-toluenetetraisole ； The second tetramethyltoluene enrichment solution is brought into contact with the metal-organic framework material and then separated to obtain tetramethyltoluene. This method can not only separate the three tetramethyltoluenes from decarbornaphthenes, but also ensure the purity and yield of these three tetramethyltoluenes. Since the beginning of this year, Sinopec has obtained 1,413 new patent approvals, a decrease of 45.27% compared to the same period last year. Based on the financial data from the company’s 2024 annual report, the company invested 15.215 billion yuan in research and development in 2024, representing a 8.92% increase compared to the previous year.
