How are oil and water separated in a reflux tank?

The reflux tank is equipped with a water-in-oil package – how are oil and water separated? I’m mainly not sure what’s inside the reflux tank; could you explain that?
It is commonly used in tower equipment for separating materials with different densities or oil and water. Its basic principle is to separate materials of different components based on their differences in specific gravity. During separation, visible visual centers are commonly used.
It is separated by the difference in gravity; the equipment doesn’t have many internal components – the most important thing is that it is large enough to ensure a sufficient residence time.
