The medium used now is reclaimed water, the pipes are 2 inches in diameter, and the maximum flow rate is 4 cubic meters per hour. Could you advise me on how to select the appropriate flow meter?

Your data volume isn’t high; what’s the conductivity of the reclaimed water?
As long as the flow rate is sufficient, a DN50 pipe will work just fine. A regular rubber-lined 316L electrode will do. Protection rating: It’s sufficient to indicate whether it has an integrated or separate structure

I don’t know the conductivity; this water is clean water that comes out of the treatment device
If it’s not pure water, using an electromagnetic method works just fine
For water with a diameter of 50, and a flow volume of 4 cubic meters, the flow velocity is only 0.56; a rotor-type sensor would be suitable, while an eddy current type sensor requires the diameter to be reduced in order to achieve the required Reynolds number; For electromagnetic effects, the conductivity needs to be considered; additionally, if the flow rate is too low, it may also be necessary to reduce the diameter
Such a low flow rate is almost at the lower limit for electromagnetic flow; if electromagnetic flow is really necessary, then the diameter should be reduced.
