P+F safety barrier DIP switch

Hello everyone, it’s a P+F safety gate, model KCD2-SR-EX1.LB – a safety gate with one input and two outputs for DI signals. What do the four DIP switches at the front mean? Is the correct position 1 or 2? Thank you!
What does the operating mode of the DIP switch on S1 mean? Does it refer to inversion? Is logic high at position 1 and logic low at position 2?
The first three switches are useful, while the fourth switch is useless. When switch 1 is set to I, it results in a high input current. In other words, it depends on whether inversion is needed, as this has to be determined based on your actual situation. Because proximity switches also distinguish between normally open and normally closed types. Switch 2 is generally not used; setting it to I is the default option. Switch 3 is used to set whether the device at the site is a proximity switch or a mechanical switch.
Switch 1: For relay output 1, it is used to switch between the normally open and normally closed states (the NAMUR input signal is a current signal; logic 1 is output when the current is greater than 2.1 mA, and logic 0 is output when it is less than 1.2 mA; this switch allows switching between these states). Switch 2: For relay output 2, the normally open and normally closed states are the same as those of output 1； When II indicates a fault condition (such as an input short circuit or open circuit), this output is de-energized. That is, when used as a single-channel isolator, the second output can be used for fault alarm. Switch 3: Circuit short/circuit alarm; I enables the function, II disables it. Valid only for NAMUR inputs; dry contacts are invalid. Switch 4: Invalid
