Now, let’s discuss what the disadvantages of grid-type cable trays are compared to other types of cable trays (such as trough-type cable trays, tray-type cable trays, ladder-type cable trays, etc.)
It depends on what you plan to use it for. If it’s for instrument trays where signal shielding is a concern, slot-type trays are a better choice; If it’s an electrical cable tray, it should work.
Instrument trough panels are generally of the trough type, mainly to shield interference. Ladder and mesh types are used in electrical applications.
