Regarding thermometer sleeves, protective tubes, and nozzles

Dear experts~ I’m a newbie. I’d like to ask whether the thermometer probe and the sleeve are the same thing? The nozzle we use is M27*2; the sleeve is specified as Φ22×3.5, and the protective tube is specified as ∮10*1mm. What size do people usually use for such sleeves? The pipe nozzle is welded to the main pipeline and is used to install the thermometer； The sleeve protects the thermometer and is inserted into the nozzle ； ∮10*1mm refers to the protective sleeve of the thermocouple (thermal resistor) itself, which is inserted into this sleeve. I think the pipe thread is M27*2; it’s too large – an M16 will be sufficient. The casing and protective tube should be standardized to the same specification, such as ∮18*5mm
I’ve been working on construction projects for many years, always using M27*2 bolts.
